COVID-19 DELIVERY UPDATE

In these unprecedented times it has been brought to our attention that our third-party hauliers & transport colleagues will not be accepting signatures at the point of delivery for the wellbeing of all individuals. We fully understand & support this decision for the health of you, our customers.

Failure for the network to be able to deliver to you due to location shut or no personnel available to accept delivery will be subject to a re-delivery charge.

Any issues with goods received, you have 30 minutes to report & must take a photograph of the faults within this time frame.  Failure to do so will result in an unsuccessful claim with Roadware & we cannot accept any liability. Please notify your staff of this requirement as to safeguard all deliveries.

Shipping

All orders are delivered on working week days only (Monday to Friday).
If you urgently require your items please advise so we can try to prioritise them.
If unsure with regards delivery charges & lead times please contact and we'll happily clarify for you.

Wherever possible we deliver within mainland UK free of charge with this clearly stated on listings.
NI, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands etc please contact for an estimate.

As a rule all street furniture, catering / warehouse products, GS6, safety products and other select small items (e.g. a small pack of traffic cones) are free delivery.

We aim to provide a realistic dispatch timescale on each product page with stock of the above being held between Roadware and our manufacturing partners. Some of this stock, such as grit bins, is seasonal but can still be provided all year round. Litter bins are usually made to order on a quick turnaround due to their bespoke nature.

Should any item(s) go out of stock due to high demand we'll contact to advise a realistic timescale. Bulk order & bespoke requirements are generally made to order.

Our delivery network uses standard sized HGV’s so please advice of any access restrictions on ordering or you may be liable to a redelivery charge to send out on a smaller truck.

Small orders (e.g. a small pack of traffic cones) are dispatched via ParcelForce or TNT with no site restrictions.

Melba Swintex traffic management products.
Orders (£2100 ex VAT and over) of Melba Swintex traffic management products are delivered FOC.
Delivery below this amount is £75 +VAT per single pallet or £150 +VAT for large double pallet items.
Traffic management products are usually in more limited stock due to high demand and made to order
For orders outside area A below please contact for a quote.

Oaklands traffic management & steel products.
Delivery is £45 +VAT for single pallet, £90 +VAT for double pallet and £180 +VAT for quad pallets.
For large orders and for outside area A below please contact for a quote as it would likely be delivered via a single HGV instead.

Hawthorn metal products
Delivery is generally a flat fee of £75 +VAT for any number of crowd barriers and / or stillages.

Payment

All prices are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20% which will be shown itemised in your shopping cart.
Payment can be made using credit / debit cards using Stripe clearance services , cheque or BACS bank transfer.
Items will be dispatched once payment has been received unless otherwise agreed.

Returns & refund policy

Whilst products are quality checked prior to delivery we are keen to ensure all purchases meet your expectations.
We encourage you to inspect items on receipt and notify of any unlikely issues immediately / within 24 hours of delivery to sales@roadware.co.uk.
If any products are damaged it would also be helpful if you could include a photo wherever possible to speed up the process.
We will investigate any issues raised within 1 working day and contact to replace / refund any products where appropriate.
If within 14 days you decide products ordered aren't suitable please contact sales@roadware.co.uk to arrange a return (excludes any made to order products).
Products must be returned in a saleable unused condition.
Unfortunately business transactions will incur a 20% restocking charge and the goods will have to be returned at your expense, unused and wrapped securely in the original packaging.
Only products returned in 'as new condition' can be accepted and it may take up to 14 days for any refund to appear in your bank account.
Roadware are primarily a Business to Business supplier. For all business transactions The Sale of Goods Act 1979 applies.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations will also apply if you are purchasing for home use with delivery to your home address.
