Delivery, Returns, Terms & Conditions
Shipping / delivery.
All orders are delivered on working week days only (Monday to Friday).
If you urgently require your items please advise so we can try to prioritise them.
If unsure with regards delivery charges & lead times please contact and we'll happily clarify for you.
Wherever possible we deliver within mainland UK free of charge with this clearly stated on applicable product listings.
Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands etc please contact for an estimate.
As a rule all street furniture, catering / warehouse products, GS6, PPE & spill containment safety products and other select small items (e.g. a small pack of traffic cones) include delivery within the price.
We (Roadware Ltd) aim to provide a realistic dispatch timescale on each product page with stock of the above being held between Roadware and our manufacturing partners. Some of this stock, such as grit bins, is more seasonal but can still be provided all year round.
Litter bins are usually made to order due to their bespoke nature.
Should any item(s) go out of stock or extended lead time due to high demand we'll contact to advise a realistic timescale. Bulk order & bespoke requirements are usually made to order.
Our delivery network uses standard sized side curtain HGVs for larger items so please advise of any access and or security restrictions on ordering or you may be liable to a redelivery charge to send out on a suitable vehicle.
It is your responsibility to ensure delivery addresses are correct and notify us immediately if there is an error on your order confirmation. Orders dispatched to incorrect addresses will incur a re-delivery charge if we are charged one by a courier. Any unsuccessful deliveries, i.e., premises unattended, will also be subject to a re-delivery charge.
Large items (e.g., palletised products) require off-loading facilities at site unless otherwise notified i.e., suitable forklift truck.
Smaller orders (e.g., a small pack of traffic cones, trolleys, litter bins and grit bins) are dispatched via ParcelForce, DX or TNT with no site restrictions.
Melba Swintex traffic management products.
Orders (£2200 ex VAT and over) of Melba Swintex traffic management products are delivered FOC (mainland only).
Mainland delivery below this amount is £98 +VAT per single pallet or £196 +VAT for large double pallet items.
Traffic management products are usually in more limited stock due to high demand and made to order

Oaklands traffic management & steel products.
Mainland delivery is £55 +VAT for single pallet (£65.00 +VAT for pallet to the ground), £110 +VAT for double pallet and £220 +VAT for quad pallets.
For large orders and for outside area A below please contact for a quote as it would likely be delivered via a single HGV instead.

Hawthorn steel products.
Mainland delivery is generally a double pallet fee of £110 +VAT for up to 25 crowd or walkthrough barriers per allocation.

Payment terms.
All prices are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20% which will be shown itemised in your shopping cart.
Payment can be made using all major credit / debit cards using Stripe clearance services, PayPal, cheque or BACS bank transfer.
Items will be dispatched once payment has been received in full unless otherwise agreed.
If payment is agreed on delivery or alternative terms and isn't made within an acceptable agreed timeframe we reserve the right to add a 10% late payment fee.
If necessary, any debt will be referred to a reputable collection service with all associated costs met by yourself. Interest (8% BOEBR), legal letters £27.50 +VAT each, trace to locate a debtor £100 +VAT, and 15% collection fee (25% if following a CCJ - County Court Judgment) applied to the total (amount outstanding and all associated costs).
Returns & refund policy.
Whilst products are quality checked prior to delivery we are keen to ensure all purchases meet your expectations.
We encourage you to inspect items on receipt and notify of any unlikely issues immediately / within 24 hours of delivery to sales@roadware.co.uk.
If any products are damaged please email photos to speed up the process.
We will investigate any issues raised within 1 working day and contact to replace / refund any products where appropriate.
If within 14 days you decide products ordered aren't suitable please contact sales@roadware.co.uk to arrange a return (excludes any made to order / bespoke products).
Products must be returned in a saleable unused undamaged condition.
Unfortunately business transactions will incur a 10 to 25% (depending on product) restocking charge and the goods to be returned at your expense, unused and wrapped securely in the original or suitable packaging.
You would also be liable for any associated delivery costs even if they are displayed as ‘free’ within a product price.
Only products returned in 'as new condition' can be accepted and it may take up to 14 working days for funds to appear in your bank account.
Roadware are primarily a Business to Business supplier. For all business transactions The Sale of Goods Act 1979 applies.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations will also apply if you are purchasing for home use with delivery to your home address.
