The VoltHub™ is a purpose-designed IP55 rated weatherproof indoor / outdoor lithium battery charging station, offering secure, segregated charging with fire-resistant protection for high-risk environments so perfectly suited for use on construction sites and in industrial facilities.
The VoltHub™ has built-for-purpose features to care for Li-ion batteries, always keeping them charged under safe optimal conditions, lowering the risk of a fire to begin with.
Should a fire unfortunately break out and battery goes into thermal runaway, the unit reacts promptly using an audible and visual alarm and notifies up to three phone numbers of choice. It automatically begins venting dangerous gasses whilst the power supply for the sockets is cut off greatly reducing the risk.
At the same time, VoltHub will automatically release a certified eco foam fire suppressant directly in the affected locker, preventing thermal propagation onto neighbouring lockers and charging equipment.
The unit is simple to use, requires minimal servicing, and powered up with just a single external socket (110v or 240v versions available).
