The Defender 50 is a highly robust system that has been crash tested to 50 mph and the only system in its class to be tested with top fence panels.
Manufactured in UV stabilised polymer, the barrier offers a volume of up to 400 litres (440kg max weight) and interlocks with the next through a steel tube and two heavy-duty metal plates.
With a considerable 390kg weight when water filled the Shield barrier can be extended in height to 2.4 metres with either mesh, solid hoarding or bar panels with optional angled anti-climb mesh.
At 80cm tall the Shield barricade is perfectly suited for secure low to medium level containment. It is also compatible with pedestrian and vehicle access gates to fully secure site access.
The heavy duty Shield water filled barrier is a credible alternative to the usual concrete crash barrier systems, quicker to deploy and UK manufactured for quick lead times.
